In this course students are involved in volunteer projects in local pre-schools, as well as primary and secondary schools. Students assist in improving and building educational facilities in the community. Finally, students develop the children's creative skills through crafts such as painting, drawing and coloring and playing developmental games with the children. Towards the end of the trip students spend two days at the Mikumi game drive.
We made it after 30+ hours and we are all well (though tired). Only downside is that only three out of 27 of us got our luggage. But we stopped at a local market to buy some necessities and now we are setting in. Here is the beach we are living at.
