In this course students are involved in volunteer projects in local pre-schools, as well as primary and secondary schools. Students assist in improving and building educational facilities in the community. Finally, students develop the children's creative skills through crafts such as painting, drawing and coloring and playing developmental games with the children. Towards the end of the trip students spend two days at the Mikumi game drive.
Well the flight from JFK was canceled by the time we got there at 3:35 so they shuttled us over to Laguardia where we just made it on a flight to DC. Now we are all bleary and about to board for our 18 hours of fly-time. We'll post more soon.
